My name is Caleb Lopez.

I grew up in the faith and was taught throughout my childhood about our call; not only to salvation in Christ, but to go out and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). This not only applies to areas abroad, but to wherever God places us.

Having spent a short season of my life in South and SE Asia, I grew to love what God was doing in and through His church.

I know that I want to be part of what He is doing.

A Bit of History:

Knowing the foundation I'd need in my faith,

God placed Christian mentors and friends

in my life to develop my faith and

relationship with Christ.

I grew up in Royal Rangers, a camping

ministry for boys, which impacted the way

I think and my beliefs. I completed their Gold Medal of Achievement and Ohio's Junior Leadership Training Academy (JLTA), where I later served on staff. This program had a huge effect on my life; helping me find who I am and encouraging me to find my calling.

I was 7 years old when God told me I would serve Him in India. After that point, my life seemed to revolve around that calling; knowing that He wanted me to go there. I knew my life purpose and I was going to reach it.

It wasn't until 2010 that I had the chance to serve overseas. I traveled to Siem Reap, Cambodia as an intern for a month. This included teaching English with a drug rehab ministry, spent time at a children's home, and other such ventures.

After 11 years of waiting, I finally boarded that plane to fly into India for 5 months. Living there was a surreal experience for me; despite the bad mixed in with the good, it reconfirmed that missions is the calling God has over my life.

I attended School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT), an exceptional school designed for training pilots and mechanics for the mission field. There I became an aircraft mechanic.

Now I am serving under Compass Aviation (www.compassaviation.org) with my mechanic ratings and working on my pilot requirements. Compass is a non-profit designed to train mechanics and pilots for the mission field!

I want to invite you to join me as a prayer and/or a financial supporter! If you are praying for me, please let me know! You can be a part of what God is doing!

I also want to express my gratitude to those who have supported me in the past, and those who will in the future. I ask that you continue to pray for me and my endeavors.

                 In His service,

                           Caleb Lopez
